Summer's blooming

The payoff for a rainy summer:
Bluebells....
Bachelor buttons....
Wild roses.... And grass that's almost Pocket high...

Beautiful! I love wildflowers. Of course, as you might r member, this time of the year in Texas it's all sunflowers, but in April and May the roadsides, fields, pastures are covered in Bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, and all colors of Evening Primrose (Butter cups).

I'm wondering if you have much problem with snakes in that tall grass.

We don't have snakes at all. Another benefit of liviing in a cold climate.
