Yeah, I know, you're all getting sick of listening to me whine about the weather, so I at least dug up a non-snow picture for you. That would be what we call a ranch kid jungle gym. And I promise by next week I'll come up with something else to talk about besides snow. I hope. In the meantime, you can wander on over to my group blog for a few tips on how to put up those Christmas lights in a less than temperate climate.
Here's why I'm Strung Out on Christmas.

Ugh, I hope the weather cuts you a break soon. I think that is why out Christmas lights always stayed up until March (I grew up in Alberta)

Just waiting on a good chinook....
Ranch kid jungle gym? Now, that looks like fun!
We played in the hay stacks all the time as kids. King of the Mountain was our favorite game and of course, it was all forbidden by our father. Never stopped us because it was so fun.
Linda: Haystacks are the best, as Susan can testify. Kinda of a toss up whether the small square bales or the big round ones are more fun, but either way, you have to be sure they're stable before you get too wild and crazy. Falling bales can be dangerous, and occasionally the gaps between them have critters.
Grew up with hay bales. Great to climb on, hide in, daydream on... Thanks.
The post over on the group blog made me laugh! (sounds like hard-won wisdom :) )
And: how ironic is it that the group blog site has virtual snow drifting through the whole screen? :)
Karen: Aren't those snowflakes cool?
I can see the haystack subject is going to require video. I'm quite sure I can persuade the boy to demonstrate proper haystack sliding and jumping technique. Maybe next weekend, if the weather cooperates.
