Yikes. That reminds me of visiting Glacier National Park in early September and just missing a big storm that closed Logan's Pass. We silly Easterners had no idea snow was a possibility. Fortunately, we got our hike in in the two days before the storm. Really beautiful country.
Hope it warms up fast. I won't tell you how warm it is here in Italy :)
Caroline: We measure our winter snowfall by the date that Logan Pass opens. Last year it was July 2. Haven't heard an estimate on this year since the last big snow storm,

We got snow here too, in southern Saskatchewan. Luckily it didn't stick.
Ours is all gone this evening. Now there's just a lot of mud and water. And a small sleet storm this afternoon.
